Sandra Crockard ⚡️Mentor⚡️
As Trinity’s Co-Executive Director, Sandra Crockard has accumulated nearly 40 years of knowledge and expertise creating innovative programs, tools, and resources for community-building in schools, neighbourhoods, and workplaces. Drawing from art and drama practices, transformative mediation, motivational interviewing, restorative practice circles, cognitive, narrative and drama therapies, Sandra has created interactive presentations, conferences, public meetings, forums, workshops, and talking circles that empower and engage people of all ages, combining personal growth, reflection and insight capability, with health promotion and community participation.
In the capacity of Trinity’s chief administrator, Sandra has successfully managed projects that range from local to national in scope with funding from agencies such as Canada Service Corps, Health Canada Drug Strategy Community Initiatives Fund, Justice Canada Youth Justice Fund, Canadian Heritage and Canada Summer Jobs – working with an average of 25 students during the summer Leadership Labs.
Sandra believes in intergenerationality, working collaboratively with the young people in Trinity, sharing her wisdom and experience in areas of research and development, program design, facilitation, conflict mediation, mentoring, grant writing and reporting, project management, and leadership training.
Over the years, Sandra’s involvement in community has ranged from chairing school Parent Councils, coaching hockey, lacrosse and baseball, and leading art classes. Currently, Sandra is treasurer of the Paisley Artscape Society, a Youth Ally for the Arran-Elderslie Youth Council, a member of the subscription team for the Paisley Advocate, secretary for the Paisley District Chamber of Commerce.
